In its first year as an academy, Cliff Park Ormiston Academy has been ranked in the top 3% of schools for value added, a measure of how much academic progress students make whilst at school.

Three Ormiston academies are in the top 7% of schools in the country for the value they add to students’ progress. George Salter Academy in West Bromwich and Ormiston Venture and Cliff Park Ormiston Academies in Gorleston, Norfolk are celebrating as the latest data shows them to be amongst the best in the country for the progress that pupils make.

85% of disadvantaged pupils at Ormiston Herman primary academy in Gorleston, Norfolk achieved Level 4 or above in their Key Stage 2 reading, writing and maths, above the national average for NON disadvantaged pupils at 83%.

90 pupils at City of Norwich School (CNS) are currently taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. The scheme has three programmes: Volunteering, Physical and Skill and each programme requires one hour per week.
