Students from our network of OAT academies have been receiving all the support necessary for making successful applications to two of the top universities Oxford and Cambridge, thanks to the second ‘Oxford Conference,’ hosted by The National College of Teaching and Leadership, Ormiston Academy Trust.

Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy in Stoke-on-trent has been selected to be the first school in the country to host education charity The Brilliant Club's annual conference. The charity aims to increase the chances of pupils from state schools of winning places at leading universities and it currently runs programmes with 10 academies in the Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT).

More than 600 students participated in the first collaborative Ormiston Academies Trust 'Road to Rio' Olympic Games, which this year was held at the Northwood Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent.

At a recent Safeguarding Conference held at WS10 in Wednesbury, a group of Year 9 students from Wodensbrough Ormiston Academy (WOA) impressed 150 professionals in sharing their knowledge and expertise on the dangers of the internet, cyber communities and netiquette.
