On Thursday 16 February, Melanie Onn MP launched the new partnership of DONG Energy and education charity Teach First at Ormiston South Parade Academy in Grimsby. The aim of this partnership is to transform the skills landscape for young people in Grimsby, Hull and Merseyside with a focus on STEM subjects.

Key representatives from arts, culture, sport, politics and business gathered at Number 11 Downing Street last night for a high level reception in support of the work that Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) and Ormiston Trust (OT) are doing to promote and enhance enrichment opportunities for our students. The reception, hosted by Mrs Susan Hammond and with the kind permission of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, was a call to arms to urge attendees to collaborate with OAT to transform the opportunities on offer to students from our academies.
