Chadwick Help for Heros

A textile class at Ormiston Chadwick Academy in Widnes adapted a ‘yo-yo’ flower technique to remember the fallen.

They made more than 150 poppies and sold them to staff and pupils at the Liverpool Road school.

Teacher Emma Hatch said: 'I am incredibly proud and overwhelmed at the enormous support we have been shown.

“This is a fantastic achievement.”
