Claire has over eight years' experience as an audit manager based in the East Midlands. Claire's portfolio was predominantly focused on academies, ranging from large MATs to single academies, but also included retail, leisure and agricultural companies. Upon the commencement of her employment Claire worked as the Finance Director at George Salter Academy and helped generate significant budgetary savings at this academy. Claire has now taken on the role of Head of Compliance and Reporting and, in conjunction with the RFDs, this involves looking after all of the academies within OAT. Specifically the role includes internal audit review and liaison, review and interrogation of management accounts and budgets, RED academy reviews and academy level support as and when required. Claire is also a trustee of a Midlands-based MAT and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.
