Julia has over 20 years’ experience as a project consultant in the education sector working on a wide range of change management projects including Building Schools for the Future (BSF), e-learning and now academies. She has spent the last seven years working on the academies programme as a senior project manager.

Julia uses her expertise to support schools considering academisation through their decision making process, lead the conversion process on behalf of Ormiston and provide ongoing advice, guidance and support once schools have joined the OAT family.

The second part of Julia's role is focussed on supporting the co-curriculum across the OAT network. This involved facilitating enrichment activities through building relationships with external providers and identifying funding opportunities to support them. Julia also supports OAT academies to develop collaborative projects and maintains a strategic overview of co-curricular activities across the network to communicate and celebrate success as well as promote good practice.
