We are seeking a creative and dynamic candidate to support the leadership of our Language Faculty, with specific responsibility for French.

Already a well-established faculty offering French and Spanish at KS4 and 5, we now have the majority of students studying a Language option at GCSE from Year 9.

This is an exciting time of expansion for the Languages faculty. If you are ambitious for yourself and the students who you serve, then you are the person we need.

The successful candidate will have qualified teacher status (QTS or equivalent) and appropriate and relevant qualifications in relation to the post, please see the teacher job description and person specification for more detail.

All teachers at Cowes are expected to participate fully in the wider life of the academy as form teachers and we welcome involvement in extra-curricular activities. Teaching staff are required to meet the core standards within the framework of the Professional Standards for Teachers in England.
