This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join Ormiston Academies Trust at an exciting time. The successful applicant will provide direct support to members of the Executive team of a professional and consistently high standard, taking responsibility for high profile and sensitive written and verbal communications from the Chief Executive and Directors. This would include communications relating to complaints, freedom of information and subject access requests.

Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) is one of the largest not-for-profit multi-academy trusts in England. Multi-academy trusts are charities that run schools to give local children a great education.
We educate 29,000 pupils across six English regions, in 31 secondary schools, 7 primary school and 1 special school.
We are one of the longest established Trusts and have been sponsoring academies since 2009. Our mission is to become the Trust that makes the biggest difference, both inside and outside the classroom.

We are a values-led organisation, and it is our aim that we continually challenge ourselves to adhere to the spirit of our values:
• Anyone can excel
• Enjoy the challenge
• Share what is best
• Be inclusive

Right now, we are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Head Office team based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. The office is a 10-minute walk from New Street station and just 5 minutes from Snow Hill. There are also several car parks and a bus stop just outside the office, so we are easy to get to.

The HO team is friendly and supportive of each other. Our function is to enable the 4000 + school-based staff to feel supported in their job and that’s how we make a difference to our young people.

If this sounds like the type of organisation you would like to work for and you want to be involved in making a difference to the lives of young people in some way, please read on and have a look around our website for more information about the work that we do.
