Ormiston Victory Academy are looking to appoint a hard-working and committed individual, preferably with a recognised trade, who has experience and skills in respect of routine maintenance and monitoring of services and equipment. Experience of site security and caretaking would be advantageous, but not essential.

We take great pride in our facilities and the successful applicant will be expected to ensure students, staff and visitors are provided with a safe, secure and well maintained environment throughout all the academy buildings and grounds.

Applicants will need to be flexible in their working hours, self-motivated and able to manage their own workload.

Main duties will include:
 General maintenance, repairs and improvements;
 Keeping the academy clean and tidy and routine grounds maintenance:
 Site security and undertaking key holder responsibilities;
 Maintenance of the mini bus and occasional driving;
 On call for emergencies;
 Porterage requirements and moving goods and furniture.

Practical experience is considered more important than qualifications but the successful applicant will require a good level of communication skills, written and verbal and have a
basic knowledge of ICT.
