The City of Norwich School – An Ormiston Academy is an exciting, forward thinking Academy with a large and thriving Sixth Form. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths to join our team who has high standards in all that they do, has a passion for learning and loves teaching, is willing to try out new ideas and is aspirational for both themselves and the students.

We are very proud of both the attainment and progress of our students in mathematics, and our most recent results continued a positive and improving trend.

GCSE
• Progress 8 score of 0.15
• Attainment 8 score of 51
• 68% of students achieving grades 9-4
• 50% of students achieving grades 9-5

GCE
• 91% of students achieved grades A*-C
• Mathematics continues to be the most popular ‘A’ Level studied at CNS, with over 100 applications from students wishing to join us to study mathematics in September
