We are seeking to appoint a talented leader with a passion for raising standards through excellence in teaching & learning in their own classroom and through ensuring the very highest standards of behaviour, inclusion and interventions

You will have a proven track record in working with disadvantaged young people and will want to play a lead role in further developing pastoral care at NEW. You will have a clear vision for what excellence looks like and you will have the drive and the tenacity to put this vision into action. You will lead by example and will have the credibility and the skills needed to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and stakeholders – you will be able to build the strongest possible team. Our pupils will be at the very heart of every decision you make.

As a key player on our leadership team you will play a pivotal role in our school improvement journey. You will join a supportive, highly talented and committed team of leaders and staff who have work hard to drive the academy forward in its improvement journey.

We work collaboratively with other Ormiston Academies, both locally and nationally. To ensure we are at the leading edge of the latest developments in the education, able to deliver the highest quality professional development and provide progression opportunities within the Trust. We have a strong commitment to staff development and ensure staff feel supported through access to the academy’s CPD programme. We place a high value on staff development, both in teaching and leadership. We acknowledge the importance of staff well-being by offer a number of staff activities and benefit packages.
