Students at Ormiston Denes Academy collect GCSE results

Ormiston Denes Academy in Lowestoft are celebrating GCSE results day and recognising the achievements of this year’s Year 11 cohort.

The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work and dedication, as they look ahead to the next stage of their education.

Amongst the individual achievements include:

  • Jake achieved eight Grade 9s across English language, English literature, combined science, mathematics, French, geography and religious education. He also secured a Distinction in performing arts, as well as an A and AS in mathematics.
  • Bethany attained a Grade 9 in English literature, as well as a combination of Grade 8s and Grade 7s across most other subjects.
  • Ella secured four Grade 8s across combined science, mathematics and French.
