Rose and Izzy celebrated their results this morning

A proud day for Tenbury High Ormiston Academy as students celebrate GCSE success

Year 11 students at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy are celebrating a major milestone as they receive their GCSE results today.

The school is celebrating the achievements of its students, who have shown resilience and ambition throughout their studies and are now preparing to take their next steps in education, training or employment.

Today is about celebrating every one of our Year 11 students and recognising the unique journey each of them has taken to reach this milestone.

Vicki Dean, Principal at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy

The school continues to make significant improvements, building on its Good Ofsted rating secured in May 2024. This year, on average, pupils achieved one grade higher in every subject compared to previous years, in addition to school attendance being significantly above national average. As a result, the Tenbury High Ormiston Academy is a popular school of choice in the local area, and is fully subscribed for September 2026.

The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work and dedication, as they look ahead to the next stage of their education.

While all students achieved strong results, the following students made particularly significant progress during their time at the school and went on to achieve exceptionally highly:

  • Esme achieved six grade 9s, one grade 8 and two grade 7s.
  • Izzy received six grade 9s, one grade 8 and two grade 6s.
  • Alby secured two grade 9s, six grade 8s and one grade 7.

“Today is about celebrating every one of our Year 11 students and recognising the unique journey each of them has taken to reach this milestone. Their achievements reflect not only their own commitment and perseverance, but also the strength of the relationships between our students, families and dedicated staff, and we are excited to see them continue to flourish as they take their next steps. We wish all our Year 11 students the very best for the next stage of their journey.
