Ormiston SWB Academy in Wolverhampton are celebrating their Year 11 students as they collect their GCSE results and reflect on their achievements.
This year’s cohort achieved success across a wide range of subjects, with encouraging outcomes for all students. The results reflect the students’ determination, the dedication of staff and the invaluable support of families.
The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work and dedication, as they look ahead to the next stage of their education.
While all students have achieved well, some individual achievements include:
- Harsh who achieved grade 9s in English language and chemistry, a combination of six grade 8s and 7s, and a Level 2 Distinction* in engineering.
- Caitlyn who secured a grade 9 in geography, grades 9 and 8 in combined science, grade 8s in English language, maths and art, alongside strong results in English literature, computing and music.

Dan Mason, Principal at Ormiston SWB Academy, said:
“We are delighted with what our students have achieved this year. They have embraced every opportunity, supported one another and consistently risen to the challenges they have faced. We are incredibly proud of the confident, ambitious and capable young people they have become. Following our positive Ofsted report earlier this year, these results are another fantastic reflection of the hard work and dedication shown by our whole school community.
“As they move on to sixth form, college, apprenticeships and employment, we wish them every success and look forward to seeing all they achieve in the years ahead.”
