Catherine is the Director of Education for Grace Schools, a multi-academy trust comprising 38 schools across East Anglia. Appointed in 2020 during a pivotal period of strategic transition for the trust, she has overseen significant improvements in educational standards and pupil outcomes across its schools.
With over 20 years experience in the sector, and having taught in both primary and secondary schools, Catherine has spent the majority of her career in primary education, serving as a teacher, headteacher, and executive headteacher. Her subject specialisms are in English and languages, and she has been involved in curriculum design at a national level. She is a trained Ofsted Peer Inspector, a role she undertook to help foster stronger communication, transparency, and alignment between the inspectorate and the school sector.
