Students and staff at Ormiston SWB Academy are celebrating today after receiving their A- level results, enabling them to secure places at their chosen universities, on coveted apprenticeships and selected jobs.
The sixth form students at Ormiston SWB Academy have achieved some excellent results which reflect the hard work and commitment shown throughout their studies.
Students across the academy performed well, with some of the individual standout achievements including:
- Jake Jarvis who achieved an A in biology, A in chemistry and B in psychology, and will be going on to study biomedical sciences at the University of Birmingham.
- Shian Mal who was awarded a B in biology, A in chemistry and A in psychology, and will be going on to study Optometry at Aston University.
- Justin Panyin received a Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction in health and social care and will be going on to study nursing at the University of Birmingham, with an integrated master’s.
Dan Mason, principal said: “We are very proud of all our students for their fantastic achievements. These results are a true testament to their hard work and the support of our brilliant staff over the last two years.
“I am certain that whatever their next steps are, they will go on to achieve great things and I very much look forward to hearing all about their future successes.”
