Students at City of Norwich School – an Ormiston Academy are celebrating today after receiving their hard-earned GCSE results, as they get ready to take their next steps in their education journey.
Students, parents and staff have come together to mark the achievements of all the students, who have worked exceptionally hard over the past couple of years to secure these grades. Students across the Year 11 cohort performed particularly well in English, the sciences and history.
The Norwich-based academy is beyond proud of the Year 11s and is looking forward to welcoming many of the students back to their sixth form this September.
While the academy is celebrating all their students, some of the individual standout achievements include:
- Head students Ruby Boulter-Dolder and Ruby Pollard have made an immense contribution to the CNS community and their amazing achievements include twelve grade 9s and 8s across an excellent set of results.
- High achievers Alice Small, Mattie Whitehead, Archie Stoy, Ben Russell-Grant and Laura Shepperson collectively achieved 32 grade 9s and 12 grade 8s.
- Students Sophie Knowles, Owen Lack and George Sherwin’s resilience and determination has been rewarded with fantastic results enabling exciting future pathways for them.
City of Norwich School prides itself on offering a broad, balanced and enriching curriculum which empowers every child to reach their full potential across academic and creative depth, alongside building confidence and happiness. By being part of Ormiston, the academy strives to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background, by providing the best learning environments both inside and outside the classroom.
