Students and staff at Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy have come together to celebrate two years of hard work.
The students at the academy have collected an excellent set of post-16 results as they prepare to take the next steps in their education and careers.
The students’ successes have enabled many of them to secure places at their chosen universities and in highly skilled employment.
While all students have done well, there have been some impressive individual performances. These include:
- Alex Campbell, who has secured two As in textiles and art and a Distinction in business, and who will be studying engineering at Cardiff University.
- Jessica Wales, who has attained an A* in the Extended Project Qualification, an A in art and English literature, and a B in psychology. Jessica will be going to the University of Liverpool to study English.
- Hannah Harrison, who has achieved two A*s in textiles and art and a Distinction in health and social care, and who will study fine art at the University of Chester.
- Jenna Ward, who secured an A in criminology and two Bs in English language and sociology, and will be studying linguistics and sociology at the University of Manchester.
- Adam Burns, who will be studying fine art at Liverpool Hope University, after achieving a B in photography and two Cs in art and textiles.
