Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Jo is Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Ormiston, leading all operational functions while continuing to fulfil the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer. She oversees a broad portfolio of services – including estates management, governance, IT, administration, communications, HR and finance – ensuring these functions effectively support the trust’s mission and long-term objectives.
Beyond her role at Ormiston, Jo is a co-opted member of the Audit and Risk Committee at the University of Liverpool and a trustee of a multi-academy trust. She previously served as Chair of Governors at an academy in Birmingham for ten years.
Before joining Ormiston in 2019, she held a number of senior global leadership roles in the private sector, including at Jaguar Land Rover Overseas, where she was responsible for an annual turnover of £6bn.
