Mandeep began her career as a teacher, making significant contributions to education. In 2009, she won the Microsoft UK, European, and Worldwide Innovative Teacher’s Award for her project “Young Voices”, an initiative that encouraged open debate among pupils from diverse social, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. She was also nominated for the Asian Guild Awards in 2011 for her impact on education and featured on BBC News for her work on Young Voices.
She later moved into the NGO sector, focusing on high-impact projects addressing global challenges. She played a key role in the project “Twenty Global Issues, Twenty Years to Solve Them”, led by Jean-François Rischard, former Vice President of the World Bank. As part of this initiative, she collaborated with Microsoft Corp, the Smithsonian, and Australian filmmaker Cathy Henkel to create an advocacy film on deforestation. In her role as project lead, she secured support from influential figures, including the King Sultan of Java and the Minister Bupati of Sintang, Borneo, while also delivering keynotes and reporting on findings.
Mandeep later transitioned to the corporate sector, holding roles in Program Management, Business Development, Business Strategy, Sales, and Sales Management at Microsoft. She is currently working in the field of AI, leveraging innovation to enhance customer engagement.
